We do not have
perfect skin, we are humans after all. I have been experimenting with different kinds of products and product combinations until one day, I finally decided to settle with a set of products and test it for 1 week. Before I settled for these set of products, I have been randomly using Cetaphil, St. Ives Apricot scrub, Nivea mattifying toner, Iwhite Korea aqua moisturizer, and Mario Badescu Rosewater spray.
Now to the products, I stumbled upon several YouTube videos that show the effects of
apple cider vinegar(ACV). Some use it as toner, they drink it, and they even include it while taking a bath. Of course, we want immediate results that's why I used it as toner, drank it, and included it while taking a bath. 😂 I used Bragg's ACV with the mother, it's supposed to be the healthier one. For the toner, the ratio is 1(ACV):3(water). I drank it for three days 1-2 tsp per 8 oz of water, twice/day, but I stopped because I caught a cold and I was taking a medicine and I was afraid it would react with the medicine for some reason. For bathing, I mixed 2-4 tbsp of ACV in a pail of lukewarm water. I always use a hand-shaped scrub to remove the dirt on my body. I still used
St. Ives apricot scrub to exfoliate my body and after showering, I lather my entire body with lotion.

For the soap, I used the
Belo essentials whitening bar (Kojic acid+Tranexamic acid). This soap is also a chemical exfoliator which means that it peels off dead skin through the action of chemicals present in the soap unlike the physical exfoliators like loofahs, beaded facial wash, and so on.

Moving on to the moisturizer, I was torn between using the
Iwhite Korean Aqua Moisturizer and the
Mario Badescu Rosewater spray because when I was testing the rosewater spray my skin had small bumps around my forehead. I was sad because the product was just a gift to me and I wished to have that product for so long but I never had it. Knowing me, I really tried to work the product on my skin and see if it really was the product that was causing me those breakouts. Then, I just realized that I was going to have my period and maybe the breakouts were from that. So I started using the rosewater regularly. Since this product is quite pricey for me, I alternately use it with the Iwhite moisturizer. Also, the type of moisturizer that I used was dependent on the weather and skin condition, like if it's too dry or moist. I use the Iwhite for dry days and the rosewater spray for moist days.

Take note, I have an
oily skin and these products might not work on you.
I am not a licensed dermatologist. I am just sharing with you the products that I think worked on my skin through trials and errors. Below are the photos after using it for 2, 3 and 4 days respectively. I noticed that the day after I used the products, my pimples dried up and some grew on the other side but when the products were applied, it dried up again. I popped my pimple on the 3rd photo because it was annoying but never do that HAHA
And this is how my face looks after a week:
Overall, it is not possible to clear out all of your acne and acne marks in just a week but the results were pretty good. I really noticed that it lightened my acne scars. For pores, it did not do that much job, my pores are still visible. My skin feels smoother and tighter. As you can see, I do not have any pimple right now. Just a few scars and blemishes left here and there. Since the results were good. I will continue to use these sets of products for 1 month and will update this blog.
