Rucy's Vanity (Whitening Serum)

Hello, gladiators! 

For this post, I'll be reviewing the Whitening Serum from Rucy's Vanity, a Korean makeup brand. It is part of the free products I got from them. I received the products on the 31st of July, it came with a paper bag and the products were all bubble wrapped. As always, I will be honest with my review.

The products included a Whitening Effect Mineral Two Way Cake, a Lip and Cheek Red (Contains Green tea and Collagen), a Water Proof Liquid Eyeliner, and a Gleamy Lavish Water Proof Mascara.

 I posted a picture of the products on my ig account on the receiving day saying I'll be writing my review after a week to test the serum on my skin. For the past 7 days, I've been using this product after every time I cleanse and apply toner, as it says in the direction. The product claims to be fit for all skin types, a perfect whitening formula that contains Vitamin E and Collagen, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic, and effectively fades acne marks, hyperpigmentation, and scars. The main purpose is to whiten and moisturize. Reading those claims encouraged me to, you know, not be a lazy dog in cleansing my face.

The product is in a pump bottle which made it easier and more hygienic to use:

Upon application:

>After I applied my toner, I immediately apply the serum and it really feels hydrating. It is not oil based which is perfect for my oily skin.

>After a minute or two, the product is already absorbed by your skin and dried.

>Doesn't smell bad. It smells like your regular lotion.

Results:

>My friends recognized that my face looked brighter and whiter.
>My relatives said that I have a smoother face (tinanong pa nga kung anong ginagamit ko)
>I feel like my face got more sensitive but I really saw the brightening effect on me.
>I don't know if this is the result of me using this product, but when the makeup artist applied makeup on me, my face took long (~9hrs) before it got oily, and my face looked poreless. Unlike before whenever a makeup artist applies my makeup, after an hour or so, my makeup is already falling apart and looked too greasy.

 (Di ako nakapag picture ng before huhu sad lyf, but this is how my skin looks after a week of using it. No edit/filter)

Will I recommend this product?

Definitely, YES! For a cheap and imported skin care product, I will. We all want that porcelain-looking skin of the Koreans we saw on K-dramas.
